The Cast Iron Lift Non Return Valve (also known as a lift check valve) is a fluid control component designed to prevent reverse flow in pipelines. Made of cast iron (a material with excellent durability, cost-effectiveness, and corrosion resistance for general industrial/media applications), it uses a "lift-type" closing mechanism: when fluid flows forward, the pressure lifts the valve disc off the seat to open the passage; when flow reverses, the disc drops back to the seat (aided by gravity) to seal the pipeline.

Ⅰ．Product Introduction

The Cast Iron Lift Non Return Valve (also known as a lift check valve) is a fluid control component designed to prevent reverse flow in pipelines. Made of cast iron (a material with excellent durability, cost-effectiveness, and corrosion resistance for general industrial/media applications), it uses a “lift-type” closing mechanism: when fluid flows forward, the pressure lifts the valve disc off the seat to open the passage; when flow reverses, the disc drops back to the seat (aided by gravity) to seal the pipeline.
It is widely used in water supply, HVAC, petroleum, chemical, and general industrial systems (suitable for clean, low-viscosity media), typically installed in horizontal pipelines (or vertical pipelines with upward flow) to protect pumps, compressors, and other equipment from damage caused by backflow.

  1. Reliable Backflow Prevention

    The lift-type structure ensures tight sealing: the valve disc fits precisely with the seat, and the combination of reverse flow pressure + gravity enables quick, stable closure (reduces water hammer risk compared to swing check valves in some scenarios).

  2. Durable Cast Iron Construction

    Cast iron body/parts offer good mechanical strength, impact resistance, and compatibility with most non-corrosive (or mildly corrosive) media; the surface is usually coated (e.g., blue epoxy, as shown in the product image) to enhance rust resistance.

  3. Simple & Low-Maintenance Design

    Few moving parts (valve disc, spring, etc.) reduce wear and failure risks; the structure allows easy disassembly for cleaning, seat replacement, or maintenance without complex tools.

  4. Wide Application Adaptability

    Suitable for a range of working pressures (e.g., PN10/PN16) and temperatures (generally -10℃ to 120℃ for standard models), matching common pipeline specifications (e.g., DN15 to DN200).
