一、Product Overview
The Powder Vacuum Sampling Valve Series – Cylinder Type is designed for powder sampling during the drying process in drying equipment. It serves as a powder sampling device, allowing samples to be collected during operation.
The sampling valve features a 35° installation angle. For horizontal installation, a 10° inclination is recommended to ensure that powder flows smoothly back into the dryer, facilitating powder discharge and sample collection.
The series includes three configurations: Cylinder Type, Online Quantitative Type and Online Disinfection Type. Available nominal diameters include DN25, DN32, DN40 and DN50, with manual and pneumatic operation options.
二、Sampling Procedure
To begin sampling, turn the handwheel clockwise to close the valve, then turn it counterclockwise to open the sampling valve.
Under vacuum operating conditions, connect the small valve to the vacuum system. The vacuum pressure inside the sampling cylinder should reach -0.3 MPa before sampling. Under positive pressure conditions, the small valve is rated for a pressure of 0.4 MPa.
Once the sampling valve is opened, powder enters the sampling cylinder. After sample collection is complete, turn the handwheel clockwise to retract the valve stem into the valve chamber and gently close the sampling valve.
When the handwheel can no longer be turned, close the vacuum valve and remove the sampling cylinder.
三、Operating Precautions
1. Clean and disinfect the sampling valve before use.
2. The sealing ring is made of fluororubber, and the front seal is made of fluorine-based material. The specified operating temperature is 100°C.
3. If the handwheel becomes difficult to rotate during operation, do not apply excessive force, as this may damage the positioning pin and screw mechanism.
4. During vacuum sampling, the vacuum pressure inside the sampling cylinder should reach -0.3 MPa. Excessive negative pressure may cause a glass sampling bottle to break. When sampling under a negative pressure of -0.9 MPa, a steel sampling cylinder should be used.
