WYE series scotch yoke type actuator adopts a modular product line design and is used to operate rotary stroke control valves such as switch type or frequently adjusted ball valves, butterfly valves, plug valves and etc. The connection size of the scotch yoke type actuator complies with the ISO5211 standard and can be perfectly installed on valves that meet the ISO standard connection size.

The Scotch Yoke Type Actuator employs a unique yoke design, efficiently converting the linear motion of the piston into rotational motion, thereby achieving maximum torque at the valve’s open or closed position. This feature makes it particularly suitable for valves requiring high torque control, such as ball valves, butterfly valves, and plug valves with 90° rotation angles, ensuring stable and reliable valve operation. In applications matching DN700 butterfly valves, the Scotch Yoke pneumatic actuator can provide a torque of up to 3840Nm, fully meeting high torque requirements.
Compact Structure
Compared to traditional gear-rack actuators, the Scotch Yoke Type Pneumatic Actuator boasts a more compact structure, with a volume reduction of approximately 30%. This advantage not only facilitates installation and maintenance but also effectively decreases the overall equipment weight.

The unique transmission method of the Scotch Yoke Type Pneumatic Actuator reduces air consumption, lowering air consumption by approximately 40% cm³/Nm compared to gear-rack actuators. The Scotch Yoke Type Pneumatic Actuator boasts a broad operating temperature range. The standard model can operate normally in environments ranging from -20℃ to +80℃. High-temperature models can reach from -20℃ to +150℃ (or +160℃ upon request), while low-temperature models can operate stably in environments ranging from -40℃ to +80℃. Additionally, the actuator meets IP65 protection class standards, effectively preventing the ingress of dust and water, ensuring stable operation in various harsh environments.
