The KP-1.0 Type (P2X) Quick Air Vent (inlet) Valve is a specialized pipeline accessory designed for key positions in piping systems, including the highest point of the pipeline, gas-trapped sections, and pump outlets. Its core functions are twofold: first, to remove gas accumulated in the pipeline to unblock it, ensuring the pipeline operates normally. Without an exhaust valve, air resistance may occur in the pipeline at any time, resulting in the actual water discharge capacity failing to meet the designed requirements. Second, it provides protection against pipeline damage caused by negative pressure. During the operation of the pipeline, sudden power outages or pump shutdowns can easily lead to instantaneous negative pressure inside the pipeline, which may cause pipeline vibration or even rupture. In such cases, this exhaust and air intake valve can quickly introduce air into the pipeline, effectively preventing pipeline vibration or rupture and safeguarding the overall safety and stability of the piping system.
Ⅱ.Product Features
-
Efficient Gas Discharge: It supports large-volume exhaust when the pipeline is filled with water initially, and can continuously discharge small amounts of gas generated during the normal operation of the pipeline, ensuring no air accumulation and maintaining unobstructed pipeline flow.
-
Automatic Operation: The valve adopts a float-driven structure, which realizes automatic opening and closing without manual intervention. It can respond in real time to changes in water level and pressure in the pipeline, achieving intelligent gas discharge and air intake.
-
Reliable Negative Pressure Protection: When negative pressure occurs in the pipeline due to power outages, pump shutdowns, or other emergencies, the valve can quickly open to inject a large amount of air, effectively suppressing negative pressure and avoiding pipeline damage such as vibration and rupture.
-
Stable Sealing Performance: The sealing material is made of high-quality acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber, which cooperates with the 304 stainless steel float and live valve to ensure good sealing performance when the valve is closed, reducing the risk of water leakage.
-
Durable Structure: The valve body is made of HT200 material, which has excellent mechanical properties and wear resistance, and can adapt to the working environment of normal atmospheric temperature and branch water medium, ensuring a long service life.
-
Easy Maintenance: It is designed with maintenance considerations in mind; it is required to be equipped with a valve during installation, which facilitates subsequent maintenance and repair work without affecting the overall operation of the pipeline.
Ⅲ.Technical Data Summary
1. Working Principle
When water enters the pipeline initially, the float stays at the bottom of the valve barrel, allowing a large amount of air in the pipeline to be discharged through the valve. After the exhaust is completed, water enters the valve, and the float rises under the action of buoyancy, driving the valve core to close the valve port and stopping exhaust. During the normal operation of the pipeline, a small amount of gas will be naturally generated, and these gases will continuously gather at the upper part of the pipeline. As the gas accumulates to a certain extent, the water level in the valve drops, the float falls accordingly, and the accumulated gas is discharged through the valve port. When a power outage or pump shutdown occurs, the water in the pipeline is emptied, and negative pressure is generated inside the pipeline instantaneously. At this time, the float falls smoothly, opening the valve port to the maximum extent, and a large amount of air is quickly introduced into the pipeline, thereby ensuring the safety of the pipeline.

3. Usage Notes
-
During use, the operating pressure of the exhaust valve must not be lower than 0.02MPa. If the pressure is lower than 0.02MPa, the valve is prone to water leakage, which will affect the normal operation of the pipeline.
-
A matching valve must be installed together with this exhaust valve for the convenience of maintenance and repair work in the later period.
