一、Product Overview
The Powder Vacuum Sampling Valve is designed for sample collection during the drying process in drying equipment. It serves as a powder sampling device, allowing samples to be collected while the equipment is operating.
The sampling valve is designed with a 35° installation angle. For horizontal installation, a 10° inclination is recommended to ensure smooth powder flow into the dryer and facilitate powder discharge and sample collection.
The series is available in four nominal sizes: DN25, DN32, DN40 and DN50, with both manual and pneumatic operation options.
二、Sampling Procedure
Before sampling, turn the handwheel clockwise to close the valve. Then turn the handwheel counterclockwise to open the sampling valve.
Under vacuum operating conditions, connect the small valve to the vacuum system. The vacuum pressure inside the sampling cylinder should reach -0.3 MPa before sampling. Under positive pressure conditions, the small valve must withstand a pressure of 0.4 MPa.
Once the sampling valve is opened, powder flows through the sampling tube into the sampling bottle, completing the sample collection process.
After sampling, turn the handwheel clockwise to retract the valve stem into the valve chamber and close the sampling valve. Once the valve is fully closed, shut off the vacuum valve and remove the sampling bottle.
三、Operating Precautions
-
Clean and disinfect the sampling valve before use.
-
The sealing ring is made of fluororubber, and the front seal is made of fluorine-based material. The operating temperature is 100°C.
-
If the handwheel does not rotate smoothly during operation, do not apply excessive force, as this may damage the positioning pin and screw mechanism.
-
During vacuum sampling, the vacuum pressure inside the sampling cylinder should reach -0.3 MPa. Excessive negative pressure may cause the glass sampling bottle to break. When sampling under a negative pressure of -0.9 MPa, a steel sampling bottle should be used.
