一、Product Introduction
The Pneumatic Soft Sealing Lug Type Butterfly Valve is a versatile fluid control component that integrates the compact structure of lug-type design, the reliable sealing of soft sealing technology, and the efficient automation of pneumatic actuation. It takes a disc-shaped closing element (butterfly plate) as the core, with compressed air as the power source to drive the pneumatic actuator, and realizes the on-off or throttling control of fluid by rotating the butterfly plate 90 degrees.
The unique lug-type structure (with threaded lugs on both sides of the valve body) allows the valve to be installed independently on the pipeline without relying on the flange connection between the pipelines, which is convenient for single-valve maintenance and replacement. Equipped with a high-performance soft sealing structure, it has excellent sealing performance and is widely used in water treatment, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), food and beverage, chemical industry, pharmaceutical and other industries. It is especially suitable for scenarios requiring low pressure loss, reliable sealing and easy installation, and can stably handle water, oil, gas and other neutral or weakly corrosive media.

Lug-Type Structure for Flexible Installation & Maintenance: The valve body is designed with integral lugs with threaded holes on both ends. During installation, it can be fixed between two flanges by bolts passing through the lugs, without welding or directly connecting the valve to the pipeline flange. When a single valve fails, it can be disassembled independently without disconnecting the entire pipeline, which greatly improves the convenience of maintenance and reduces the downtime of the production system.

Superior Soft Sealing Performance: The valve adopts a soft sealing structure where the butterfly plate is in close contact with the soft seal ring. The seal ring is made of high-quality materials such as EPDM, FKM or PTFE, which have excellent elasticity and corrosion resistance. The precision fit between the butterfly plate and the seal ring ensures zero leakage under rated working conditions, and effectively avoids the problem of medium leakage that is easy to occur in hard-sealed valves.

Efficient Pneumatic Actuation & Quick Switching: Equipped with a lightweight and high-efficiency pneumatic actuator (single-acting or double-acting), the valve can complete the 90-degree rotation of the butterfly plate in 1-4 seconds to realize rapid on-off. The actuator has stable output torque, sensitive response, and can be seamlessly connected with automatic control systems such as PLC and DCS to realize remote centralized control and improve production efficiency.

Low Flow Resistance & Energy Saving: The full-bore butterfly plate design has a smooth inner cavity, and the flow resistance coefficient is only 0.2-0.5 (much lower than that of gate valves and globe valves). When the valve is fully opened, the fluid can pass through unobstructed, which significantly reduces the pressure loss of the pipeline system and saves the energy consumption of the pump or fan.

Durable & Corrosion Resistant: The valve body is made of high-quality materials such as cast iron, ductile iron, stainless steel 304/316L, which have good mechanical strength and corrosion resistance. The butterfly plate is treated with anti-rust and anti-corrosion (such as epoxy coating, chrome plating), and the soft seal ring has strong resistance to acid, alkali and organic solvents, ensuring long-term stable operation in various working environments.
