Working Principle
The Single Seat Sampling Valve uses a movable stem and sealing element to control the flow between the process line and the sampling outlet.
In the closed position, the sealing element shuts off the product flow and isolates the sampling outlet from the process medium.
When the valve is opened manually or pneumatically, the stem moves away from the valve seat, allowing a controlled amount of process liquid to flow through the sampling outlet.
After the required sample has been collected, the valve is closed to stop the flow and restore the sealed condition.
